Absolutely. I haven’t thought of him as a prospect in a couple of years, he’s too old imo to look at him like that. He’s a grown ass man. I’ve struggled when our board brags about him compared to other prospects or about rankings on lists. The guys he’s being compared to are usually 18-19.And it’s not like Nikishin is some pimply faced 20 year old kid. He’s a fully mature (coming 24 this year, right?) man.
He’s a rookie for the NHL with zero experience being probably unfairly expected to be good in a playoff game, but at the same time he’s hardly inexperienced overall. Makes it a tough call for RBA.
