The wait is over: Nikishin is on the way

I have my doubt on Nikishin being the named 3nd best NHL affiliated prospect. Seems like he has stalled production wise the past 3 years.
He will be good but not quite as much as people are predicting. My prediction is for a 40 pts 2nd pair D-man.

He's very good but I also have some doubts. People who think he's going to be a top 10 D in the league right-away could be disappointed.

40 pts seems a bit low, this guy is gonna score 50-60 pts average per year minimum I would think, and potential ppg.

50-60 pts would not be too far off top 10 D and PPG definitely is.
Hence my 40 pts prediction.

Who thinks he’s going to be a top 10 D right away? That’s a ludicrous expectation for a 23 year old with zero NHL experience.

You don't think he could be a top 10 D right away? He's going to be 24 years old when the next season start. And with plenty of experience in a pro league.

Well op did it by saying this "Alex Nikishin is widely viewed as the best prospect currently outside the NHL". In reality, most rankings have Demidov ahead of Nikishin.
