Honestly, I don't understand how these are the final choices. Out of those, Mammoth seems like the only choice. Have a hard time thinking they'd end up with Wasatch.....understand where it comes from, but doesn't really fit well with a team name.

Hockey Club......that one bothers me more than it should probably, but I totally don't get it. This isn't soccer. 19 of the 30 teams in the MLS are "Football Club".....pretty sure most in Europe are as well, or simply don't have team names, they are just all considered FC. Why introduce this into hockey in North America?

The correct answer, Utah Raptors, was never an option.

The next best answer was Utah Outlaws.

At this point, of the three poor options remaining, screw it, at least Wasatch is unique.

As far as I can tell, the Montreal Canadiens were never known as Montreal HC though, they still had the "Canadien" name....anyway, either way, things have clearly evolved from there anyway.

My personal view is biased with the history I've seen and don't like things going in different directions.....probably too much of a black and white statement as I certainly support positive changes for things that matter. Anyway....my point about the HC thing is that it just irks me. If you want to have HC, then every team should be HC and just have the city represented then.
