So the wife and I were actually at the game last night. First game in about 10 years that she and I got to attend together, and about 5 years since I have been to a game in person. It was nice to be there but the in arena experience isn't nearly as fun as it used to be when it wasn't so "corporate"

And damn, has downtown changed.

Yes, downtown is very neon now! I love it, but I understand the different opinions on the change.

When there were 7500 fans of a niche sport and scrubs on the ice our cheers and taunts mattered. Now the team is established as being part of Nashville and not an afterthought--so corporate support is there and that's what keeps the lights on. So yes, it's different...we've moved from childhood to adolescence to young adulthood. Some things just change. But the neat thing is we (and others on this board) watched it grow up!

We beat a slumping team we should've won due to their injuries on the blue line and our in theory superior roster.

Now was have the big West trip. Time to see if this team can actually gain momentum or fade back into the cellar

Only saw about half the game, but from the bit I saw, we looked better, but without some really, really good goaltending, we don't hold those middle period leads.
The 5 on 3 was an absolute shit show, to me at least. I think Utah cleared the puck 4 times in those 2 minutes.
