Guys i would just like to remind you your bench players cannot cost more than 1.5 million i stated this last night bc they dont cost towards the cap so partially through the year you cannot drop someone say like scott gomez to the bench bc he costs to much....so your options would be one to lose him for a cheaper player or 2 trade him bc you cannot put him one the becnh until he catches fire.

we are doing 2 spares, they have to be under $1.5m

and then we will do 2 more rounds of entry draft.

i really think your going to suffer with scoring.. i really dont think you can match my forwards or agents forwards.. your goalie is stacked but since were only counting one goalie for points your going to lose points regardless.. i dont think your d is good enough since gonchar is injured and green is coming off a contract career year.. letang and doughty need to carry you but your forwards especially your bottom six will definately keep you away from the top 3.. more risks than rewards

good group of young dynamic forwards.. your going to offer imo because of your defense.. you really need souray bieksa and redden to step up.. solid pick in miller and awesome depth in bernier.. i see you contending in the future but just not this year or the next.

another weakness is defense.. bouwmeester is the only scoring threat,.. you need kronwall and michalek to break out.. wisniewski is injured. amazing forward group... besides carter and higgins.. your bottom six may be your undoing.. your best bet is to hope that franzen steps up and kostitsyn developes like his brother and kesler steps in the second line centre.. good cap space.. unfortunately, imo your d is lacking some offence.

Great offense, that will draw you in a hefty amount of points. All cheap too. But your defense is great too. 3 old but terrific offensive defensemen in Boyle, Jovanovski and Niedermyer, they will get you tons of points. I am not sure about Ericsson and Yandle though. Ericsson won't get much if any playing time in Detroit this year and Yandle won't be used too much. And for goalies you have one of the best in the league, hopefully his defense can stay healthy :p:

My Roster:

Thomas Vanek - Jonathon Toews (A) - Phil Kessel
Simon Gagne - Eric Staal - Teemu Selanne
Milan Michalek - Jason Arnott - Claude Giroux
Patrik Berglund - Jordan Staal - Devin Setoguchi

Dion Phaneuf (E) (A) - Chris Pronger (C)
Erik Johnson - Shea Weber
Marc Staal - Jack Johnson

Marc-Andre Fleury

Eric is injured and Marc is not going to get pp minutes, however your forward group is probably the best if not one of the best imo.. amazing prospects and veterans.. one problem is that your going to run into contract problems when the two johnsons and toews and giroux and even setoguchi and berglund are up for contract years.. i may even sign them if you cant.. :sarcasm: you may not win it this year or the next but i see your team winning it in the last two years of this draft. probably the only team that i could see myself getting beat on paper.. kudos

and mine lol

another one of those teams that your D must produce to keep up with the elite teams of this draft.. but i like your potential and i see your team developing into a big contender.. top three in my books.. elite forward group.. you need marleau and horcroff to produce to maintain the top 3 eligibility

i like your team a lot, your offense is awesome, i don't love your D compared to everyones because i worry about your Defence's +/- but its still good. In this draft it's hard to have a bad team. i don't know it stacks up because i havent seen all of the others.

what about mine?
#18 M.Hossa-#19 J.Thornton (A)- #11 D.Alfredsson (A)
#20 V.Prospal- #91 B.Richards -#13 N.Zherdev
#21 L.Eriksson-#14 T.Plekanec-#37 P.Bergeron
#12 D.Carcillo (E)-#16 D.Brassard-#24 R.Callahan

#5 N.Lidstrom (C)- #41 A.Meszaros
#6 B.Coburn-#2 D.Keith
#55 S.O'Brien-#3 M.Zidlicky

#35 M.Turco
#31 T.Rask

your only weakness is your last line.. you better hope callahan has a spot in the first two lines and you hope brassard plays better than voracek or filatov and carcillo doesnt spend too much time in the box.. i expect turco to have another spectacular year.. your d has amazing scoring potential.. no major weakness.. def in the top 3

Hey guys I want your honest opinion, how stacked is this team and what ranking would you give me in this draft!

Alexander Ovechkin -Anze Kopitar-Brenden Morrow
Patrick Sharp - Paul Stastny-Alexie Kovalev
Wojtek Wolski-Peter Mueller- Martin Erat
Alexandre Burrows (E) Martin Hanzal-Pierre-Marc Bouchard

Tobias Enstrom-Mark Streit
Matt Niskanen-Ryan Suter
Fedor Tyutin- David Johnny Oduya

Miika Kiprusoff
Ty Conklin
Karri Ramo

:yo:

i really think your forward group and your goalie are pretty much the same with my team.. your d again, a common trend... is your undoing.. not as bad as others.. alot of boom or bust.. but i your forwards are amazing and im only saying this because you stole mueller away from me  but anytime you mueller as your third line centre, your def going to contend..

perfect descpition angelo. i agree about callahan i was ctually going to replace him on that line with filatov if he makes the team or brian little. my next pick also could go there if no one picks him. and according to what ive read brassard should play with nash. and if filatov makes the team watch out ;-)

Here is my team

Kovalchuk Crosby Gaborik
Satan Jokinen Okoposo
Nilsson Dubinsky Voracek
Clowe Oshie Neil

Rafalski Markov
Campbell Corvo
Girardi Liles

Lundqvist
Ellis

I feel i have a great 1st line- you better be able to skate with these 3 on against you although not physical they dont shy away.

My second line can defianately chip in with some scoring and we feel in time Okposo will replace Gaborik on the top unit.

My 3rd line is improving and my 4th line offers some grit

My weakness is i will need to get a cheap spare center if Oshie isnt ready

My defence is one of the best with solid goaltending

Your forward group is one of the best, maybe the best but i havent seen them all yet. Nice topline mix adding Morrow for some grit along with top end talent.
Very scary group of forwards

Your defence paid the price for the offencive advantage where i tryed more of a mix.

Not a big Kipper fan as his numbers have slowly been going south the last couple yrs
but what do you expect to hear from an oiler fan hahaha

Conklin is hot and cold and Ramo young still.

Thanks for leaving me Crosby but how can you go wrong with AO. Best players in the game
