are you joking? why? i could draft all centerman if they were the best players available it doesnt matter. Its a points league we are aiming to get the most points not by what position they are at. And when did this rule come up? you should tell us these things at first not after someone makes the mistake.

that woulld be cool since theres only 9 people here we could get 3 coaches each and they would all be head coaches in normal NHL.

guys this is common sence you can draft all left wingers and make them centre rwers and defence ....that is sticking.

I agree you can't draft a forward and put him on defense, but if you draft a left winger you should be able to put him on the right, center I'm not sure about

Alright I just checked and my salary cap is already over half full with only 8 players. That is ridiculous considering all my players are young and some have rookie contracts still. We have got to raise the cap! No one is picking old players. I thought I would never see the day Brunnstrom gets picked over Gomez, but he won't even get picked the entire draft because of the ****ing cap. I know it is another challenge to face but it is very Pejorative Slured, no offense.

In a few years my rookies will want huge fat contracts and because of this stupid cap I won't be able to sign them. And it will look like NHL 08 here with 50 great free agents sitting without a team because of the cap. We don't have to raise the cap by like 20 million but 15 would be good or even 10.

wow I also didn't know this when I began to draft... I agree you can't put a Forward for Defense but that's common sense, I don't see why you can't put a LW as a RW position or something like that. Most of my team is out of place since I have so many Center's. Well not only Center's because I did good positions for them so I agree for not putting a RW as a Center but LW/RW should not matter. Here's an example from my team:

Brenden Morrow is a LW... I want him on the first line to make it look more real. I have Patrick Sharp and Wolski who are both Lw. I can't put Morrow on the first because of Ovechkin, and since I'm low on RW don't want to have someone like Wolski playing fourth line minutes.

I agree with most of what you said but Lw/Rw shouldn't matter, many coaches even change positions sometimes to see if it works well or not...

It will also mean that I have 4 Lw'ers and 0 Rw'ers because I never knew about this.

i would love to raise the salary but its not fair for the gms that have drafted accordingly.. if we were going to raise the cap it would be a yearly thing... its all about managing the cap.. anyone can draft players but can people actually manage a team with injuries and so on..

that's what I think, if we were going to change the cap it would have been before we started drafting, it can change yearly though.
