Does anyone think it would be better to have a mix of reality show people and never before people ? I tend to think that would make it more interesting.

I’m not sure why they have to put a trans in season 2 and 3. That’s one of the only things bothers me about the show. Not everyone wants to see that and I know many who don’t

US season 1 was a mix of reality tv people and regular folk, and the regular folk all got hella played by the people that have played these types of games before.

These types of shows its typically best to pick a lane, all reality tv people or all new people. Mixing is typically the worst outcome.

Losing some really entertaining people right away :(

Bob will not last long and is likely the first traitor out.

Really surprised by Dylan. Seems like he was a big reality tv fan growing up.

Australia S2 takes the cake in this department, no question. I'll still get annoyed anytime that season randomly pops into my head.

UK S2 also has an all-time dumb-dumb ending, but the faithful in general were pretty good up until that point.

I'm worried US S3 already getting a bit too contrived for my tastes. Like, in episode 3, the traitors all have to sneak in and out of the bar of all rooms without being blatantly seen? Like they're going to risk every single traitor being outed at the same time through pure happenstance :eyeroll:

For context I don't really watch reality but my GF started watching this show so we've pretty much made it through everything (sans Canada).

Oh, and I highly recommend the US S1 reunion for those who watched the season. Sheds some much needed context on the ending.

They are pushing an agenda clearly

Let’s look at traitors Canada season 2 as well. Most of the male cast was either gay or trans

If you weren’t familiar with Canada you’d almost wonder if there was any straight men there at all

Are there? Hopefully one day some of them can finally make it into tv and media.

On a fundamental level, there is literally no difference from what you said vs. "I'm not sure why they have to put a straight in season 2" or "I'm not sure why they have to put a gay in season 2."
But obviously we're entering thread hijacking territory on something that's absolutely been covered in other threads as well in similar off-topic fashion."

The best season is Australia Season 1.

The reveal at the final roundtable was the best in any show I have ever seen. You literally saw someone's heart break in two

That didnt take long to be correct.

Bad move by Rob. A better move would have been going for Bob last roundtable instead of this one. If people are smart, they should be clued into him now (seems like Wes clocked it). The classic "If this person is voted out and not a traitor, just vote me out next." People only say that when they are certain someone is a traitor 100% and the only way to know that is if youre a traitor yourself.

Will see if Wes tries to rally the troops against Rob now. Rob's best way to save himself would probably be if they are able to recruit a traitor (have a feeling it wont happen though cause theres still 3) to get one of Derrick or Wes in, and then get them banished so you can then say well look, we found the traitor from the group of 3 that entered, that solves that issue.

Bob started it at the challenge. He was laying the groundwork to get Rob by talking about how 1 of 3 that came in late HAD to be a traitor. He was clearly trying to set a trap for Rob to give the faithful a traitor in a vote or two and Rob wanted that out before Bob could get the numbers.

Rob's reputation was always going to make him a threat, he needed something on his resume to show he's faithful. But Carolyn being nutso, and alienating the other traitor in Danielle is gonna make his road pretty tough. Rob's only real chance is gonna be to clear out the Traitors and rebuild the turret in his image. But I doubt he'll get enough time for that.

That whole round table spoke of traitor on traitor violence though. And Bobs reactions to Rob and Danielle's votes was telling to me.

But how much of that is just my impression since I know who the traitors are. I still think the most interesting thing the show could do is have a season where we the viewers DON'T know who the traitors are, where we are playing along with the faithful. I think that'd be really interesting, IMO.

I watched that ending and he stared at her so long I thought my computer froze. You are right he was crushed. She was so dramatic with the tears and acting and he fell for it easily.
 
Season 2 was full of idiots, which doomed the show there. Australia's host was my favorite of the US/UK/AU group.

But that reveal in season 1 will be tough to beat for me. She was playing in order to afford IVF, which is great. She did nothing wrong, she just played it perfectly. But he was playing for his disabled daughter which is another gut punch.

But he had no hard feelings at all, seems like a really good guy. I fear that would be me in that situation. LOL
