Hold wasn't the reason for the goal. Lucics bad clear and Bart getting out muscled and complaining to the ref as the play was happening was the cause. Still should have been a penalty though

Right.

I remember a guy who did that very thing. This place went ape ****.

And, it was in the playoffs against a team that was doing it all over the ice.

Pretty helpless no stick.Teams just park in front vs Bruins.D to soft to move them.Love see Rask break few ankles.

I'm not sure what game you are watching, but the B's have dominated the vast majority of this game. I mean, their PK is out-shooting the ANA PP  Hard for me to complain about the overall effort, win or lose.

they were outplayed in the last minute of that period without considering the affect the stickhold had on the goal

Between missed calls, calls that shouldn't be penalties, and leading the league in waived off (but are actually good) goals, it's getting comical.

Bruins fans on this board complain more than anybody I've ever seen about the refs. Do you HONESTLY think the Bruins haven't won more games due to what you mentioned? You can use all of the excuses in the world but at the end of the day the Bruins aren't that good.

However, he clearly held his stick.

Regardless of the blown calls, if we could capitalize on half our chances, we would be one scary team. That goes for every damn game.

The only changes I would make to this team(especially once healthy) is get a legitimate 4th line energy guy and if we could get one of those "buy low" guys and take a chance on them.

I'm with you. Great game in hockey terms. Wish we were playing Bruins hockey, it's a tough team we are playing so why no pushing or scrums or fights? Ah... the new NHL. :sarcasm:

Soderberg is the guy I've noticed has been playing quite physical this year. That man deserves a pay raise. The way he plays despite only making 1 million is wonderful.

wonder if we'll see a make up call in the third for the blown call? Gonna need to capitalize on a PP at some point. might as well be to tie up the game and hopefully leading to a win.

Other than the whole losing thing.. they are playing pretty well tonight.

Maybe the B's will get their first 5 on 3 of the season in the third.

Second stick hold he's gotten away with that period

Utter trash officiating.

And again you can see what an amateur team this is again needing flashy lights and strobe lights on Rask to keep the crowd into it... such good sports about the game eh?

how many missed ****ing calls do the Bs get every game.

Between missed calls, calls that shouldn't be penalties, and leading the league in waived off (but are actually good) goals, it's getting comical.

Damn, B's playing some of the best hockey of the season and they're behind because of poor officiating. Can't catch a break.

Careful....the ref police are watching!

I know nobody will care, but this oilers game is going offffff

I'm shocked Katz hasn't booted Kevin Lowe out of the organization by now--Arizona had been shutout 4 straight periods and it seems if it's not EDM, they struggle and rely on Mike Smith too heavily--Tippett's a lot like CJ...

???
Not even remotely what I was saying.

I'm very happy with their effort for the majority of the game, and they've been the better team tonight, but they got pinned in their zone that last minute, and they didn't have to be.

So, what you are saying is that BOS has outplayed ANA in roughly 39 of the 40 minutes?

I will take that. Nine times out of ten, given tonight's effort, B's would be leading, but by all means, harp on the 60 seconds they got outplayed and ignore the non-call

Yikes for real? Man oh man I thought for sure we've had one at least.

Would love to see total 5 on 3 time for the past few seasons for all teams, definitely feels like we only ever get 20 seconds here and there while we far more frequently kill 1:30+.
