Seriously the Leafs took the champs to game 7 and outplayed them most of the game - just a few bad bounces. I thought the Leafs were going to pull it out tonight. I know it hurts but you do have a good team and they are not chokers.

Playoffs are hard man, they have a great team and game seven could’ve gone either way. It didn’t, life goes on.

This team is going to still be a problem for the rest of the league next year. They didn’t choke, they just lost a close series.

The Tavares signing has been a bust. He needs to be stripped of the ‘C’; he’s an emotionless robot who is not a winner.

I don’t even think it’s his fault, the way he progressed through juniors caused him to have to grow up a lot quicker than others and I think it had some negative effects on certain areas of his development.

I’m glad he walked from NYI.

It might not have been a choke but it is a continued inability to get out of the first round. Why are people acting like there's a moral victory there?

This is not a pile on, by the way. I'm not a Leafs hater. I just don't think it benefits anyone to be dishonest about this. I mean, so it wasn't a traditional choke job. Okay, it's still a failure relative to what that team is capable of.

Funny thing is this might be the first time where a majority of leafs fans didn’t give a shot about xGF%….sucks that the gm and pres care so much about it cuz we are past it
