I'm shocked, to be honest. No matter what the opponent, the scenario, they just can't get past the first round.

Honestly, the state of the NHL in Canada is pretty putrid. Those teams have to figure it out. Too much incompetence for the revenue and fan support that comes out of there.

In my opinion he is the biggest fraud in the league. The majority of Toronto’s talent was already drafted when he took over.

I think Mark Bergevin is an idiot, but I guarantee if the Leafs hired him instead, he would have “bargain binned” a decent supporting cast with “da character” and he would have won at least one playoff round.

Very well fought, no one can say the Toronto Maple Leafs are not a good hockey club.

Playoffs are hard man, they have a great team and game seven could’ve gone either way. It didn’t, life goes on.

This team is going to still be a problem for the rest of the league next year. They didn’t choke, they just lost a close series.

Leafs need to shake up their core. Matthews, Marner, Reilly, Tavares, Nylander, etc doesn't get it done. I suspect they will all be back, have another great season, run into a great team in the first round, and be knocked out again.

I really thought this was the year they broke through. GM needs to make a couple of major moves. It is what it is. Yes, they put up great regular season stats but have proven they cannot beat a team in the 1st round.
