Bring back the WHA and give the NHL a run for it's money. It was somewhat successful last time.

But they wouldn't be the Maple Leafs. They'd be some other team. Why should they cash in on the legacy of the Leafs? Just because they happen to be located in the same city? Seems like a pretty dumb reason to me.

Can't see an issue with it. After all 75% of the teams that started the NHL kept their tea names from the NHA.

And the Toronto Maple Leafs would be my pick. Just because the league went **** up doesn't mean everything decent about it should go down the drain with it.
