That said - you're missing a big part of the point of this. They're American

you have a poor record at guarantees.Brady will end up in Florida once he becomes a UFA I guarentee.
The benefits of shaving of having players who are having members and have grown up playing hockey together could easily outweigh the deficit of playing on an off side.If only Quinn or Luke actively played Right D, it's still absolutely possible and would be hilarious either way. At least Brady and Matty Tkachuk actually play different wings. The fact that you could still put 4 of those 5 out without having anyone be playing out of position is insane though.
Brady will leave Ottawa when his contract expires.
Could be good for them because he’s the type of player that doesn’t age well.
Someone put a cabbage patch doll’s head on a human body like they wanted to create a new Toy Story character and thought we wouldn’t noticeCan't get over the fact that Brady has a mans body and a toddlers face
Makes me laugh when someone says 2000 was a long time ago. I mean 1960x - sure, but 2000 cmon.Makes to feel old to recall seeing Matthew and Brady as toddlers at Coyotes games circa 2000.
Unfortunately it'd probably take Matthew, so you're right. But it would be really cold to see these two play a few years together. The thought of what it’d take to get Brady makes me not even want to say it, but man I’d love Brady on the Panthers. Those two in the playoffs would be amazing.
Barkov++?Unfortunately it'd probably take Matthew, so you're right. But it would be really cold to see these two play a few years together.
Your best bet is waiting out his contract. He seems committed to trying to win with the group here, but if they're not contenders in 3 years, he's 100% moving South. And FLA makes so much sense for so many different reasons so you can get him without moving Barkov++ (or whatever the Huberdeau+Weegar+1st comparison for Brady would be)

I bet you people would have said the same about Huberdeau and Weegar at the time, not so much anymore because they know Matthew is and was worth it. Barkov is 5 years older, most teams would trade him in 2-3 years from now if it meant having Brady for his best 8 years. Like not even a question.Barkov++?![]()
Yes and he's still more likely to move than BradyBarkov is going nowhere.
No, I knew Huberdeau could be dealt. I just didn't think him and Weegar would go together.I bet you people would have said the same about Huberdeau and Weegar at the time, not so much anymore because they know Matthew is and was worth it. No; I was advocating to move on from Huby, but Weegar was a surprise. No shot Barkov gets loved for anyone. Brady is an absolute stud, no doubt, but he’s not on Barkov’s level. Anyone else on the team? Sure, except Matthew.I bet you people would have said the same about Huberdeau and Weegar at the time, not so much anymore because they know Matthew is and was worth it.
