Man wrecks car, frantically seeks help and gets shot for his efforts.

im no cop...and i understand that when they shoot, its for certain areas on a persons body. but in this case? with no weapon visible/present? cant they just shoot the guy in the foot, if at all? or a warning shot? who knows what goes through their minds when they see a black person running, but sweet jesus. no need to kill.

If a Cop is firing his weapon, he's firing it to kill. That's how they're trained.

You never shoot to "wound", there is never a justification to shoot someone other than to kill them. This seems to be an unfortunate case where the woman called reporting this guy as a potential home invader, and the cop fired on him as such. Lots of missing detail here though, like did the cop request the guy stand down or did he just shoot him without any verbal instruction?

My girlfriend is excited about the season starting up soon: success
She says she's going to be a bigger fan of the Blackhawks than the devils though: failure

I'm still trying to convert mine. She does seem interested in hockey and she even agreed to watch the draft with me shortly after we started dating. We'll see how it goes.

I find most women, even those that typically arent into sports, like hockey.

What disturbs me, is the high percentage of those women who seem to enjoy the fights more than any other part of the game.

I dont know what that says really. :dunno:

Women love to see men in pain . . .

Meh. When you can eliminate them with one shot at 500 yards that is accuracy!

500 yard accuracy is great for targets but it is unfair to the game.

Eliminating all the animals sensory advantages by increasing the distance is not something I'd ever want to do. The game should be intimate. The animal deserves that respect. It deserves to met in their terms and conditions on their playing field and not to be overwhelmed by modern technologies and advancements.

Outside thermometer read 39° this morning at 6:00 am. I like it!

I walked outside this morning and breathed in really really deep. It's that kind of weather. It makes me smile, and it makes me happy. Absolutely positively love this weather and this time of year. So glad I'll be back on day shift for it.

Speaking of which, tonight is my last night on night shift, and my last night working on the production floor. :):):):D

Pretty awesome, gopro type camera strapped to an eagle as it flys around the French Alps

Finally a POV video that doesnt suck. Only thing better would be if it took down a squirrel. I wonder why they didnt show the landing though? Hope the weight/balance thing didnt harm the eagle.

Worked at Sony yesterday. Visited Colombia's floor which was cool. My floor is on the 31st floor. The view is awesome.

My computer is a piece of **** but I'll take it.
