While some of you like to always go out a get the latest NHL video games, I'm one of those guys that likes to stick to some of the older titles.
Let's take a look at the game that started the EA Sports franchise, NHL Hockey for the SEGA Genesis.
This game is from the 91-92 season so we have San Jose here as an expansion team but none of the other expansions and relocations from the 90's are here yet. Also the game has an NHL license but not an NHLPA so while the team names and logos are here, the players are only identified by their jersey numbers.
I've got a playlist going on my YouTube channel showing of a number of games here and I'll be uploading more as we go along. (I'm not actually playing mind you, they're all CPU vs CPU games) I figured it can provide a little offseason entertainment for everybody.
