Remember it well.
A slightly weird game to say the least. Glenn Anderson scored 10 seconds into the game, setting record for fastest goal in a finals' game.
Esa Tikkanen scored, and it looked like Edmonton would take the Cup that night.
Then... Boston scored three in a row. Rookie Glen Wesley scored twice (!), includng a shortie after the puck bounced away from Gretzky's stick as he was doing a pivot on the PP (thanks to the Garden's atrocious ice).
But then a costly penalty by Keith Crowder put Edmonton on the PP, and Craig Simpson (who'd just come out of the box himself) deflected in a shot to tie the game.
Seconds later, the lights went out.
I remember watching it with my Dad, and we were, like, "Oh crap! CBC blew a fuse." Then we found out the Boston Garden had suffered a paralytic stroke. Funny stuff.
