They took down Johnny Sack and Junior was basically on trial for half the series.
The FBI also turned a number of big name characters into informants like Big Puss and Adriana... that got them whacked.
I’d say the FBI had a pretty central role in the show.
I’m kind of confused as the others what you mean...
Anyone find it odd how the New Jersey crew were always considered small time... Yet always got away with it like getting Junior off or Tony never getting caught.
Yet Johnny Sack went down like a ***** lol...you would think New York famlies would have more resources
That episode in the snow at Sack's house was awesome.Anyone find it odd how the New Jersey crew were always considered small time... Yet always got away with it like getting Junior off or Tony never getting caught.

Im not surprised you are confused, I would never know you were replying to me if it didnt tell me
I never even implied that the FBI werent in the show, in fact I even mentioned them in my post
You did a poor job of explaining what you are even talking about.
You claim we never see a scene like that again in the Sopranos and “every time we see the FBI its just a casual meeting where they just chat” and there was never any “epic case building”.
That is maybe what you think you saw, so that’s probably why your explanation makes little sense.
Their “casual meetings” were always discussing new bosses, captains, wire taps, undercover agents, flipping people, building the Rico case, etc. They did in fact show how they were building a massive case. It’s all right there in the dialogue and their subsequent actions.
No clue how you think there was “no epic case building” by the FBI when a large portion of the show focused exactly on that.
Sitting around a table trying to get an informant to get information is in fact not epic case building, seems like every meeting they have they are cracking jokes. I wouldnt say a large portion of the show deals with the FBI, you dont even see them every episode
They can discuss things all they want, and whatever they want, it is never like that scene and it baffles me that you can compare the scenes

Obviously it baffles you because you are misrepresenting the FBI scenes involved as casual meetings... like they constantly sat around talking about Tony’s awesome deli trays.
The mafiaso tree in that scene showed the FBI changing Junior over into a boss, and then they went after him on racketeering charges. They went after many of the other underbosses and associates in that tree as well, getting many to flip, and building cases agt ones like Tony who didn’t.
All of what they did is detailed quite well throughout the show, and it was all set up quite nicely by that scene you oddly claim was out of place.
You obviously didn’t pay much attention if you thought those FBI scenes were “casual meetings”.
Yes, FBI indeed try to jail the mafia members. Im glad someone finally pointed this out!
And no, the FBI scenes were not set up by that tree. They mainly went for Tony
Comical.
So basically, you didn’t pay attention to anything that went on during the series.
Pretty much makes sense now why you think that scene was out of place.
This kind of supports the theory New Jersey was small time, they were more focused on the big fish. It really comes down to evidence and they couldn't get anything to stick on Tony.
Comical.

Cool, ive never actually seen the show FYI
But since there area plenty of great scenes like that one would you mind posting some, to see if the show is something I would like
I forgot that one. Uncle Junior was so funny..." Doctor, you tell me to sign, I sign. You tell me to take a **** on the Queen Mary, an hour later they're hosing it down with disinfectant. "
Hey no problem. In fact, no need to wait for me to post them, just google “Junior Soprano trial”
He’s the guy labeled as the boss in that scene, and the FBI builds this epic racketeering case against him. It’s crazy...he’s on trial for almost half the series, so you will find tons and tons of those scenes...
Obstination is a bad look.I searched and found none, perhaps there is a problem with google

Obstination is a bad look.
There are tons of clips on YouTube. The trial, Junior's meetings with lawyers, etc. are all part of the background of the show. It just is.
