In a recent broadcast I listened to Joaquin Gage state that Skinner has elite positioning and tracking. Let's assume that these are true (and you may guess that I am a skeptic). Then the rest of his game must be atrocious because these attributes don't seem to help him stop the puck.

Frederic was a complete no show which isn’t surprising given the fact that we traded for a guy with a high ankle sprain.

It shouldn't be overly difficult or expensive to get an NHL-caliber goaltender is the thing. Teams do it all the time. Colorado went out and found 2 this season when Georgiev and Annunen were tanking the team... plenty of others addressed it over the summer last year... as the Oilers sat there and watched.

Unfortunately starting to look very much like the team is going to need another big piece up front now, too. Tank is emptying on RNH and Hyman. Who knows what level Kane will be able to play at from now on. Arvidsson is just Swedish Yakupov at this point. If you don't see leaps out of guys like Podkolzin and Savoie it's going to get ugly, even with McDavid and Draisaitl.

There is 0 reason they should have been on the ice after they tied it. Fresh set of legs and Danault is covered in the slot. Fresh set of legs on the ice and the puck may have not been turned over period.
