Post-Game Talk: The Sieve We Know

GpHgFIca4AEtsot

Kempe and Gavrikov mocking (deserved) fat f*** moustache post game.

Was this photo taken after the game? Celebrating like they’ve won the cup I see

It kind of was. The change in our D play after Woody was fired and KK and Coffey were hired was as transcendent as its possible to be. Lightyears improvement.

Skinner is awful at what he does. Our coaching, wrinkles or not, at least theres some competence to it. not the same.
I mean both are dumb.
Josh Brown is directly responsible for a goal against which isn’t his fault because he shouldn’t be here in the first place.
Starting Skinner, also in coaching. Not pulling Skinner after the 4-0 goal or the end of the 2nd, also coaching.

Lets see if any of the cowards call him out on this move that 100% of the fanbase knew was wrong.

Like how braindead is this guy?

It's literally 100%. Even with Stu you still have a couple people defending him, even after tonight. Nobody defended playing Brown. Even Brown's mom was probably scratching her head over that one.

Danault is a weasel, sure, and people here hate him but the guy scores 2 goals and DRILLS Ryan Nothing Happens. He's textbook underlying once again in playoffs he's an actual impact player and sleepy Nuge bringing nothing. No accident either Danault was all over RNH tonight. Still remembers the draft.

Danault had fallen off this season but at least knows when to show up. Like I said earlier Nuge is a #1 pick in this league. Show some pride. Show up.
Right on the money. Danault is an active player who is engaged in the game. Nuge is happy to float around and hope something happens.

The kings shortened their bench even more than the oilers.

They won’t be any more rested than the oilers, for a surprisingly “deep” team, they had numerous players under 10 minutes. One of their D barely played more than Brown

In the offseason, and at least at TDL. the vast majority were saying this by TDL. Some of us were requiring goalie acquisition in offseason. What could be more obvious Skinner wasn't it.
Unfortunately this management team runs on "Hope" alot.

They hoped this sad sack of sh** in net would be able to stay over the pathetic low standard of 0.900 lol

Not a good way to run a team. I wish I could turn Stan around and kick him so hard in his a** he flys up to the moon. Then Jeff Jackson.

His puck tracking, positioning and lateral movement are horrendous.

He was so out of position and so lost on where the puck was, he didnt even react to a fluttering, floating shot.
I thought he was fine when it was 4-0. Then that 5th goal was AWFUL.... but the 6th was worse

In games in like this we always have players who fall for bullshit and get baited into calls. Happens every year.
Doesn't help that we go and specifically target Walman as an add. He's a good D but he's susceptible to some dumb plays. He was warned on what he got away with on Kuzmenko and then doubles down. Basic difficulty there not checking his intensity in the moment.

Easy to say from the couch though.

The dumbest player on the ice is Fiala missing an open net with a two goal lead because he's trying to blast it through the cage instead of just putting it on target. Wide open look. Talented player that just finds screw ups all over. On the PP he loses puck, just stops and McD almost has a breakaway. All Fiala for completely missing what the play was.

Hiring Bowman was always a stupid choice. Unfortunately they don’t realize it until it’s too late.

Monday morning quarterbacking but...tying it up late in the 3rd was a knife to the guts of LA. At that point, just close out the period and get to OT. The Kings would have had to sit in "we're blowing this aren't we?" until OT starts. The Oil should have had the well rested PK forwards and the D-men should have been in "no pinch" mode. They might have still lost in OT, you never know, but they needed to trap out the rest of that 3rd period.

Pickard has played alot better. But pickard CANNOT handle the work load of a #1 goalie he really struggles after couple consecutive games played

I probably agree with 99.99% of your posts, but this is that 0.001%. He seemed to play pretty well near the end of the season when Stu was out, even behind five D-men for basically three straight games. I have more faith in him than Stu after tonight.

I think you have to move on from Bouchard in the offseason. What a train wreck.

As for Skinner, well the smartest guys in the room know better so I’m going to trust them.
People laud his points and he can be great there, but what is the line for how badly he hurts you back there?

This is how he should be judged. No Ekhom along side him. You do not pay this guy a ton of $$

I might be in the minority, and this is not based off of tonight, but I would trade him no problem for a guy who puts up eve 40%of his points and is much better defensively. Will be paid less too.

This guy, like fat a** in net, can cost you games all by himself.

I agree no one will talk about it but Draisaitl blew a back check on the game winner. It was a greedy choice by knobloch to try and win in regulation.
