Post-Game Talk: The Sieve We Know

When Foegele has better mental hockey ability than you, you’re f***ed.
Foegele almost scored in 2nd period too. Bouchard stopped it from going into a wide open cage.

Just on another note Walman can't take that penalty in third. he had just finished plowing Kuzmenko and got a warning. Next puck drop he does the same thing, gets penalty. 5 on 3, Kings score. Turned out to be a needed goal.

Bad lateral movement and a complete inability to move his head and/or torso to look around screens. If he's screened to any degree, it's just drop to the knees and pray time. Skinners permanent weaknesses that I guess will never ever improve.

He's the poster child for the demise of elite goaltending in this country. At some point goalie coaching development in Canada just became "get a big guy and have him go down in the butterfly every shot."

Stop blaming anyone other than Skinner. There are deep state oiler fans in name only, Ofinos here that secretly try to sow dissent to destroy our community.

Focus on Stuart. Let's run this f***er outta town.
Lmao, you’re going to ignore the management that decided he was good enough? There’s a reason why goaltending has been a team weakness for decades.

Skinner is not a goalie on a cup winning professional hockey team. Not a criticism just a reality

Fixed it for you.

I’m at the point where I’m resentful Stuart Skinner even exists.

His parents should have steered him toward lacrosse or rugby, literally anything but hockey.

It’s hard for me to believe that people watched this unathletic slug in his formative years and thought “That’s an NHL goalie!”

How did this fraud make it to the highest level in hockey?

That’s the one caveat to all this.

That was our c? d? Game and LAs absolute best. Hard to do that for a full series.

They were hungry tonight. I give them credit. Wish my team started the game on time….
We've won only get better as the series goes on with the injured guys getting there wind back and the guys getting some chemistry. We still got Kane waiting to get back in. Amd the kings played there best. So if anything they regresss....

I would waive Stu.

Send a f***ing message
ou think these guys have the ballz to even do that? How much worse could a Delia/Pickard combo be?

This guy is such a sieve. You telling me these guys wouldn't be able to hit 900. Everything goes in on Skinner. Can't even make a fluke save. D is braindead too at times, but common.

Just such a sh** for brains and rocks for brains management.

EVERYBODY and their grandmothers and great grandmothers and dead family members knew we needed an upgrade on this sieve.

Not these rejects though. "Their numbers said he is better than what the eyes show"

LOLLLLL

I don’t agree, D men can crank the minutes and still not make the 10 bell errors he does. Rewind the winning goal and focus on Bouchard - he literally didn’t notice Foegele until mid ice and then had his holy shit moment - and when Foegele went net front, Bouchard went net side. Net side! When you teach young D the position you show them that clip and say “do the opposite of that”.

And yes KK’s D lineup was beyond dumb.
Yes, elite dmen can play those minutes and not make the dumb errors Bouchard does. At that point Bouchard had just played what 3/4 of the last 5 minutes straight? There was no reason for him to be out there and no reason for him to be overplayed that much but the coach chooses too. A guy like Bouchard at most should be playing 22/23 minutes. He is a 2/3 d not an elite number 1. You play a guy like that like he is that number 1, part of the consequences is more mistakes especially in a situation like Knoblauch was overplaying at the end.

There was no reason to put those guys out once the game was tied. Just take them off, put fresh legs out to drain the clock and send your top guys out in OT.

Skinner honestly might be one of the worst Goalies I've ever seen play. I don't think I've ever witnessed a goalie struggle so much with lateral movement and puck tracking. I hate to say it, but I wish Rantanen ended his season.
I wish Bowman wasn’t a stubborn moron and actually addressed the obvious biggest weakness on this team.

Will hfboards pitch money to pay Stuart his salary for be

Listen I know that shoppers had a sale on baby oil and it will do as a person al lubricant in a pinch, but try to see through the long hair and the moustache and realize he's bad for you. He's bad for all of us.

Let's run him out of town, bro.

Danault sold the absolute crap out of that too though. He didn’t even get touched in the face and swung his head like he got clotheslined.

Danault is a weasel, sure, and people here hate him but the guy scores 2 goals and DRILLS Ryan Nothing Happens. He's textbook underlining once again in playoffs he's an actual impact player and sleepy Nuge bringing nothing. No accident either Danault was all over RNH tonight. Still remembers the draft.

Danault had fallen off this season but at least knows when to show up. Like I said earlier Nuge is a #1 pick in this league. Show some pride. Show up.

If Kane can come back and lead the charge with some physical play, it will wake the oilers players up quicker go be physically engaging.
At the end of the day the kings scored on a fanned shot with 45 seconds to go to win their first regulation win against us in the postseason since 2022. We took a period and a half off and still almost pulled it out despite everything. Not like we weren’t 3-9 in game 1’s coming into this one either. We’ve come back from this situation a bunch. Reminds me of the flames series honestly.
