They have a goalie that's been better sitting right there on the bench. They lose this series and we better see some firings, the decision making from coaches to management has been baffling all season tbh.

It is so frustrating that every logical fan knew we needed an upgrade in net, begged for it all year long, management for some bizarre unknown reason thought we were fine, and we have the predictable result tonight. Beyond pissed.

I mean we only had two consecutive playoffs where he collapsed in half of the rounds he played and actively cost us critical games.... It's not like anyone expected this.

Hear me out carefully. I don't blame Skinner on that last goal. It was a fluke shot when considering flub shot combined with the screen. He never would have expected it to be that kind of shot. That said, it is totally his fault for that shot to even matter. I totally blame him for 2 or 3 goals, with help from Bouchard. Skinner made that last shot matter.

f*** that. That puck moved so slow he had time to see it AND react. But he didn’t.

As bad as Skinner is, Kemper isn't much better.

Couple of years ago when Edmonton got swept by the Aves on their track to a cup win, Kuemper getting injured basically put the series out of reach for Edmonton because the backup could actually stop pucks and shut down the Oiler's offense. Seeing that a bit here as well, if Edmonton starts playing with a high level of intensity for more than just 1/3 of the game(when they're already down), they'll find that they can score at will against Kuemp in the same way they did against Korpisalo, Talbot, and Quick.

Pickard isn’t going look like an all star and probably not going to stand on his head but he’s not going to give up such awful goals and at least get in position to make a save. He’s also all we got after that pathetic display so it behooves the skaters to help him out more and stop giving up on plays and get in there and tie up a guy.

McDavid looked absolutely deflated after that final goal went in. You could see him shaking his head and mouthing the words, "come on, man". Go back and look. You know he was fuming, man.

It could be a crushing W as well. Kings now know their goaltending is just as questionable as ever and frankly Kuemper was complete garbage in this game. For Kings they know they gave up a 4 goal lead.

Just start Pickard and I think we got this. If the team insists on continuing to start Skinner it deserves whatever it gets. its basically handing the Kings a couple goals.

Skinner lets in 6G in 58mins of action. Thats more than a GA every 10mins.

Kings can score a bit this year. They know Skinner. Its a mistake to have him in.

Yup. Kings can't feel that confident after this game

Unless the Oilers are dumb enough to start Skinner again
