OK Tuna. You made me laughMaybe, but he’d never do anything about it. He’d just complain to the ref and take the L

Latest intel on Zub is that he enjoyed a seasonally flavoured specialty coffee last night. sources weren't clear on whether it was a peppermint mocha, or a chestnut praline latte, but it definitely had a whipped topping of some sort. What's the latest on Zub ?
Also Linus
Nice to hear he’s progressing.Latest intel on Zub is that he enjoyed a seasonally flavoured specialty coffee last night. sources weren't clear on whether it was a peppermint mocha, or a chestnut praline latte, but it definitely had a whipped topping of some sort.
Do we have a ballpark return date somewhere?Latest intel on Zub is that he enjoyed a seasonally flavoured specialty coffee last night. sources weren't clear on whether it was a peppermint mocha, or a chestnut praline latte, but it definitely had a whipped topping of some sort.
fractured foot is usually 4-6 weeks, so that puts his return in the 21st Dec to 4 Jan range, but I'd expect them to hold off until after the holidays even if he was ready tomorrow.Do we have a ballpark return date somewhere?
Travesty was hard to watch last night
dislikeTkachuk Norris Batherson
Giroux Stutzle Pinto
Gregor Grieg Gaudette
Cousins Ostapchuk Crookshank
Healthy Scratch: Amadio
Hamonic has to be replaced or his minutes have to be cut back by half.I would add Sandy even if it wasn't his best game. He needs a better partner as soon as possible
talked about this yesterday .. the options are not great anywhere in the org for a top 6 winger without breaking things up that are working somewhere else to try different players there. Gaudette is not a top 6 player but I like the make up of the 3rd and 4th line.Gaudette played 10 minutes tonight.
Green seeing what I’m seeing. Guy needs to go back to the bottom 6 asap.
Broken foot, late November, guessing back early January. What's the latest on Zub ?
Anyone have the full interview with Brady right after the game?
My impression is he hates playing with himSanderson loves dumping the puck to hamonic. I think he actually trusts him which is scary
You guys sound like Tristan JarryThey determined Pinto slashing the ice was a penalty among a long list of other things so far this season.
Huberdeau lifted his skate off the ice and motioned it towards the puck making contact. If that's not kicking then I don't know what is.
It's one of those "we'll call the letter of the law against Ottawa and the spirit of the law against whoever they play".
There's not even an argument in my mind. I've seen skates come off the ice trying to stop, I've done it a million times when I played and it looks nothing like what Huberdeau did which was... an obvious kick at the puck.
If you want to call the spirit of the law and say "that's not an egregious kick", fine. But call every game like that. And not "well Stutzle put his stick on the ice but it knocked the Carolina player's stick out of his hands, NO GOAL!"
we don't do that enoughRIDLEY did screen the goaltender on Cousins shot.
100% not a kick.I’m of the opinion they actually made the correct call. He turned his skate to deflect a puck already in motion. To me it really should be the puck needs to be sitting still or just barely be moving prior to being considered a kicking motion.
I think it has to be a distinct kicking motion of which there was none. He intentionally redirected it with this skate which moved to help it in but not a kicking motion.100% not a kick.
Goal can be rewatched here and you can go frame by frame and see his skate never leaves the ice. All these people saying his foot left the ice are making me think I watched the game from a parallel universe. McLennan said he thought the foot left the ice and that is enough for everyone to parrot it without any actual evidence saying otherwise.
Batherson's foot moves like the same amount of distance on his goal against Pittsburgh the other night and no one seemed to have an issue with that goal, hmm I wonder if we can put our heads together and figure out what the difference between the 2 is
