Probably have to be moved together, they both have nmc so they can do whatever they want with that. And i don't see a team offering enough to get both, have the cap room and be a contender at the same time to take them. Would have to be a major off season move, not during the season.

No team wants the Sedins, they are here for life.

absolutely hilarious opinion, suggesting that no team wants two top line players who have phenomenal underlying numbers is just lunacy. you go and overvalue players who have shown little to nothing in gudbranson and virtanen yet you take shots at the two best players in franchise history, no wonder your support jim benning.

With 50% retention, and the Canucks taking back salary some teams will be able to afford them.

Benning would have to be fired before anything like this would be possible. There is no other way. He won't take dead salary.

The Canucks could easily retain salary on the Sedins, and scale it to what would work in the trade and what the compensation looks like. It's really about who would need them and when. If it was the trade deadline this year it would look a lot different than in the summer.

Ottawa Senators might make sense for the twins.

Alright so I don't think the Sedins will be moved. But if they were to be traded in there last year what would you offer?

I think they can pick up a pick each and we would probaby take some salary back.

Maybe a 1st + 2nd + ???

The only way the Sedins' can be moved, is if the Canucks took on horrendous contracts themselves, with the trade off being that said team giving the Canucks horrendous contracts, would have to part ways with at least a 1st round pick and top tier prospect.

Think - Senators with Dion Phaneuf. The Kings with Dustin Brown, etc.

As far as the Senators go, the Canucks would likely have to take on Dion Phaneuf and Bobby Ryan in its entirety. However - by doing that, it likely would guarantee that we'd be getting some good picks and prospects from the Sens as well.

Having Turis and Henrik as your 1-2 punch at center would be quite formidable.
