Bucci said Bratt tried the wraparound and didn't get it (which then turned into the Key Marino goal) but looking at the replay, Bratt didn't do a wraparound.

He passed it out to Nico who touch-passed it to Marino who shot it.

Was at the game tonight and holy shit, what a rollercoaster. 1 minute in and here we go again. Then get the next 3 and thinking (or was it praying) we wouldn't turtle in the 3rd period. Prayers unanswered. And just when I'm thinking, OK, hang on for 1 point, Marino strikes.

I have to say, the crowds seem louder to me than in the past few seasons (excluding last). The place went bonkers on the GW from Marino. The Bratt to Nico to Bratt goal was a thing of beauty.

And finally Vitek. Some really great saves and then the absolute landfill smelling 3rd goal.

Oh, and exactly where the f*** did all the Avs fans come from? It was especially noticeable on the game tying goal.

Not to shit on Vitek more than I already have, but we've bailed him out with several late regulation wins like that this year.

I'm trying to think of if one of the other goalies were in net for some of those.

Actually, Schmid was in for the Islanders one in relief of Vitek, who was pulled earlier in the game.

We actually did something similar to this against Vegas in the last home game. We blew a multi-goal lead against them, then they blew the multi goal lead right back. Though that one ended in OT.

Colorado are one of the teams that can probably match us pretty well at 3 on 3.

Unfortunately, they matched us pretty good 4 on 4 tonight.

Forgive the comment as I was just making a wise crack I couldn’t resist. But many a true word is spoken in jest and In that vein let me know when he hits the back of the net again. So far this season I’d say he gets it on goal only very occasionally. As to the shot, I’ve also heard it’s an unconventional looking windup but not having seen it in person I can’t say. What do you think?
