Is there more info that what was there? Does anyone know if that's a somewhat comprehensive article?
What the hell is RG Media and who is Jimmy Murphy? I have a hard time believing this. I'm a bit worried though.
Perversely, I think that hiring Quenneville would actually improve our standing with the league establishment.Well if this is true, this is a stain on this organization. They already get no respect and this just makes it worse. I’ve always thought the Samuelis were great owners who kept the Ducks in Orange County and created close ties to the community and grassroots hockey, but they will loose so much of that built up goodwill. Winning isn’t everything especially at the expense of compromising your ethics.
I have no mixed feelings about this and anyone who was critical of the Blackhawks ownership and the way the league handled this shouldn’t either otherwise they’re hypocrites. Quenville should not be coaching in the NHL after what went on in the Blackhawks locker room.I've got some serious mixed feelings, if true. I'm both excited and uncomfortable at the same time.
I've always though Q has been an incredible coach, but I just don't know how I feel about him being allowed back in the league... and especially the Ducks.
It’s not a question of political correctness.I just don’t think Pat is one to be concerned with niceties and doing what’s politically correct, he’s definitely a pretty brusque character and will continue to be about other stuff too.

fine, you can substitute moral correctness and it still appliesIt’s not a question of political correctness.
The players knew and it seems pretty unbelievable that the coach wouldn’t have some idea of what was going on.I think part of the mixed feelings thing is: it feels like some people have some extra info that some of us are missing. For example: if it's a settled fact that Q knew exactly what was going on and covered it up.
If Verbeek doesn’t care for moral correctness, then that is even worse.fine, you can substitute moral correctness and it still applies

If the article linked is true and Q is being honest, he apparently didn't fully know what was going on. The fact he had an inkling and did nothing with that info is concerning. But you have to believe our upper management did a lot of sleuthing and potentially have info we don't right?
The Jenner & Block report is very explicit in that he knew about the accusation, but simply wanted nothing to do with dealing with it.
Your direct underling may have assaulted a player, if your first response is to worry about hockey ... well let me just say, if I were a player I'd request a trade immediately.
How has no one more credible picked this up or added anything to it. Would think they would’ve by now if it were true. Hard to think of it coming out like this with how the tight lipped the organization usually is
I’m fine, duality of man. I don’t want Q. I also don’t think anyone here can cast the first stone. People on this sub, cheat, I’m sure some of you have abused domestic partners either emotionally or physically. That is worse than what Q did in my opinion. I’m sure everyone on this sub, knows someone who has cheated. Did you go tell their partner ? Or did you cover up their crime ?Yikes, you still have time to delete this.
Ty for the name drop on the report, reading time.
