coming off 3.8M/per quite awful season - shows great potential but is inconsistend and mistake prone
brilliant skater, large body, excellent poke check

would do well being a second fiddle to an older D vet RH partner

I don't know his value, but I think Calgary is an ideal fit for him if he's traded. Rasmus Andersson might not be there 3 or 4 years from now, but Mackenzie Weegar probably will be. I think Miller would look good on a blueline with Weegar, Parekh, Brzustewicz and Grushnikov.

I wouldn’t pay a ton for him based on this season. He’s basically a better Cody Ceci - great athlete but kind of low IQ. He’s fine as a 3-4 guy but I think some on here will dream up crazy prices.

Either way, if I’m the rangers I hold onto him though. They can’t afford to lose what little help they have.

it should be noted that is qualifying offer is 4.65m

But I'd love to give him a chance in Calgary.

25 yr Olds really don't have potential unless they are not used right.

He's also arbitration eligible and will be asking for big money

Were he a RD hed have much more value. As a LD I might not even qualify him if I had depth behind him.

He was looking like a stud in the making until Laviolette and his goon squad showed up.

I think he still has a lot of potential in a different situation
This ^

KAM is the Tremaine Edmunds of players in the NHL. Amazing physical tools. Great size. But shit for brains.
He is trying to do too much and most of his probs are from improper reaction, etc. Some of that is on him, some of that is on the system, and some of that is not having a good [complementary] match for a partner
Peeps say Fox.
Fox is not a great skater. He reacts to Fox, they take too long to get on the same pg

Thought he was going to be a minute munching beast when he came on the scene.

Nobody thought this. He converted from F to D in Wisconsin. Anyone that follows hockey knew he was a developmental piece. What you're saying is horse shit.

Good to have it confirmed that I'm a nobody.

First round pick is asking price to start. Brady Skjei in similar situation returned that much
Skjei had 5 years of control when he was dealt for a first round pick.

Miller is unsigned and has only 2 years of team control before he can be a UFA if he wants.

Unless it's a decent offer, a request to be traded, or Miller prices himself out, he more than likely will get another shot with a new coach that might realize they can't handle the man-to-man coverage with a poor skating team. Before the shit hit the fan he was looking real good next to Fox.
