Tough, important game as far as top seed position is concerned. It will be interesting to see if Rinne plays - they're riding him even harder than we are riding Andersen.

BOURQUE STEPS UP
Expect Rene Bourque to begin tonight’s game on left wing alongside Getzlaf and right wing Corey Perry. Bourque, who skated with the familiar duo yesterday in practice, draws back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the previous two.

“We have a lot of depth and a lot of numbers up front,” Bourque said. “I think there are a lot of guys who are fighting to stay in the lineup, and that creates good competition. I want to be better. Hopefully with these guys I can show that.”

Bourque, who has two goals and seven points in 30 games this season with Montreal and Anaheim, scored his first goal as a Duck on Dec. 7 at Winnipeg and collected his first multi-point game of the season (two assists), Dec. 12 at Edmonton.

“I've got to make sure I'm on my game, and that's moving my feet and playing physical,” Bourque said. “I'm going to be trying to get loose pucks for them and going to the net. They're trying to find somebody to stick on that line. I want to try and take advantage of it.”

Too bad we only have one Bourque, otherwise it could be Return of the Bork-i.

I guess could include Silf and Cogs to make it plural.

It's not too late to get Gabriel Bourque from Nashville! :sarcasm:

Anyway, tough game tonight, Preds are playing some good hockey. Go Ducks!

In the OP the Nashville top line and second line are switched as well as the second and third pairing.

Rinne is unconfirmed, but I expect him to play. The guy would play every game if he could. I also assume that he is mad at himself after having a rather bad game yesterday. We'll see, though.

Here's to a good game with no outrageous blown calls, and definitely no injuries

He ****ed me pretty hard in fantasy last night. Will start him again today, so I'll at least create a win/lose situation in some way, I suppose. Huge fan of his, regardless of the fantasy-nonsense. :)

Right back! Especially to the injury part.

The inevitable return of the Bork

So I'm back up in the game
Rolling as a first line wing
Letting all the people know
Where the scoring chances go
'Cause what you did, you know was wrong
Kept me in the press box for so long
So baby listen carefully
While I sing my comeback song

(I tried to score) Those passes that you sent my way
(I tried to score) But I borked, but I booooorked
(I tried to score) Those goals you said you'd give to me
(I tried to score) I just borked, I just booooorked

Return of the Bork! (It is)
Return of the Bork! (Hold on)
Return of the Bork! (Don't you know)
Return of the Bork! (Empty nets gon' stay that way)

Is it weird I sung that in Mark Morrison's voice?

We should just have song parodies all the time.

It would have been better if you included barf in some way.

Remember when we had a healthy roster that one time? Ah, good times...

I thought several of our defensemen were having off games in the last one, hopefully we see a better effort tonight. The Preds are going to be a good test, and they're probably ticked off over the LA game. Although, if we win I'm sure it'll be by one goal, and "Lucky Ducks" will be the favorite media tagline.

I'm Borkin on the top of the lines
Watching the posters lose their minds
I'm just just Borking on the top of the lines
Wastine time

Well neither Maroon nor DSP have been much better on the 1st line so may as well play him. I knew the Preds had been good but didn't realize they were only 3 points back with 3 games in hand. Hope it's a good one :handclap:

So our Bork is the highest scoring Bourque in the league. 7 points vs 6 for Gabriel, who is the only other one who's played this year.
