Speaking of a better partner for Fox. Mayb Marriage Life doesn’t suit him?

View attachment 971248

How do you get a LI girl to stop having relations?

Marry her. 🥁

I was watching Rodney last night on Carson... "I'm no good with women, Johnny. I asked my mother why she didn't breastfeed me. She said she only thought of me as a friend."

Fire Housley. If Lavy won’t then him.

Our defense is a SHAMBLES. Our first pair was a complete liability this game and not all of it is on Fox and Lindgren. Why is Fox following a guy around the circumference of the rink instead of handing him off to someone else? It’s Housley.

I mean either take the @Machinehead approach and hire a trained monkey since no coaches matter anyway or hold the coaches accountable for the collapse of their team. There's never been a team that collapsed and the players were playing well.
Though I don’t think there’s much a coach can do with this roster, it is what it is at this point. I agree I’d like to see more accountability. Kreider and Mika continue to show up in too many prime spots. Clearly a guy like Lafreniere has lost some mojo.

Not sure Housley - or the five defensemen coaches before him - are the reason the forwards often can’t be bothered backchecking properly.
There thing is, these guys all know what they’re supposed to do. They’re not learning new things at this level. It’s really on the players. At least in my opinion.

As far as the fire Lav stuff, I get that's how it works in modern sports but I have two questions.
Does he have carte blanche to do whatever he wants with his highly paid guys and how do you handle benchings on this current squad? You'd have to install a revolving door on the press box.

I’d give Laviolette the benefit of the doubt, but this is kinda his MO.

To anyone saying that the goals were not Igor’s fault, please know that you are both right and also validating the argument that the goalie shouldn’t be paid so much. Goalies cannot do it by themselves and should not be paid/relied upon to do so.

A retool is possible. Shed the deadweight ASAP.

I was in the “trade/let Igor walk” camp.

To be honest, Z and Miller played really well. Panarin...not really. Everyone else had moments. Igor needs to make a big save there after it goes 4-2. Lindgren and Kreider need to go. It's just run out of steam here. I think both can find their games again elsewhere. Smith does nothing for me. Neither does Vaak. Vaak would be a great #7 though.

JT is a bull. He was being gracious and letting 93-10 do there thig. Well JT.... like us... saw no thing... so he will lead starting tonight
