It is hilarious that posters now use the game chart to defend Brodzinski but when it comes to Mika the chart is bogus.

You guys are the biggest f***ing hypocrites on these boards.

In the postgame did Messier and Subban retract their comments almost guaranteeing the Rangers make the playoffs ? Lol.

I hope everyone is starting to manage their expectations when we end up picking 8OA in a 5-player draft and then shit the bed next year and watch Pittsburgh pick 1OA. You KNOW it's happening. Start bracing yourself for it now.

Mr “reset the market” again fails to give his team a chance to win…0.792

Funny, I will admit the team looked like they gave ZERO shits, especially in the second period. But if he had an average game we're probably in OT. If he has an 11.5M game we probably win. I mentioned this in his thread about how for some reason other than one poster on the board no one is compelled to do a whataboutism every time someone criticizes Mika. And literally no one does that with Kreider and Lindgren. The only player that we have to do cross ourselves and say some Haily Marys and say "what about the rest of the team" for is the guy making the most money on the team and in his position's history.

Listen the defense sucks and the team sucks. But Igor sucked today. These things can all be true.
he didn't suck. This fanbase has Hank-induced brainrot. Igor put up a standard NHL goalie performance today. Which of those goals was a bad? That a goalie HAS to have? But because he makes so much money people expect him to steal every game when the team in front of him plays like a bunch of limp dick jerkoffs. Blame Drury for giving him the extension. But if the team could play real hockey for once, Igor is still an asset back there. Count the number of good Rangers performances where Igor caused them to lose, and compare that with the opposite scenario.

I dont want to f***ing hear it about our goalies. We've been blessed with great goalies but also cursed because it made them blind to what a real team looks like.

Igor was bad today. The defense wasn’t great but Igor was bad. He’s been bad a lot this season. In fact he’s been an extremely average goalie for most of his career, far more of his career has been mediocre compared to the small part that has been elite.

He’s not Lundqvist. You can’t set your watch to him like you could Hank or a guy like Hellebuyck. Igor can go on a run but so can 20 other goalies in this league. So can Adin Hill or Jordan Binnington or any other goalie making half or even less than Igor is. He’s a mediocre goalie, not some elite machine you can rely on. It’s very frustrating. Lundqvist dragged far worse and far less talented teams than this to the playoffs.

All the talk with Hank you could never rebuild with him bc he was too good he wouldn’t let the team lose even if they were bad. Certainly doesn’t seem to be a problem with Igor, if the team is bad he’s bad. Just like every other run of the mill goalie in the league.

I know this is going to trigger a lot of people, but Igor gets paid what he wants on a handful of other teams. We just decided to pay him. If I was him, I'm going to ask for that kind of money, especially knowing that I'm in my prime years and behind a team that can play marginal defense and score goals (Not this team), he's got a legit chance.

If Igor's going to waste his prime years playing for this shit team who has had defense issues for so long I can't even remember where they started, then might as well pay him. Who cares. We're buying up washed up D-men and past-prime forwards, keep the chaos going!

Last 3 games:

5 GA on 24 shots
4 GA on 26 shots
5 GA on 22 shots

Yes, it's the defense.

Now show me the GA's and the shot number of his playoff performance last year. Whether it's x goals on x number of shots, or the one that gets by him when he's facing 50 shots in a one goal game, you're going to bitch.

Seriously, stop quoting or replying to me when you can't argue in good faith.

You are hanging your hat on a small sample size of games compared to the rest of his career. And even then you could stop your watch on him giving up a softy in the third period in the playoffs. If you think a guy that goes full emo for half the season is magically Patrick Roy in the playoffs I don't know what to tell you. And today's game was almost as important as any playoff game. These games will decide if we go into the playoffs or not. But sure, let's take a small sample size of his career. I guarantee you if her's magically awarded playoffs every year from here out, he will regress to his mediocre-ass self in the playoffs. Despite what you believe he is not Patrick Roy. And I also don't give a f*** about his playoff performance last year, this is 2025 and he's playing this team into no playoffs.

Oh and the argument has NEVER been that he sucks every game of his career. He can go on runs as was already mentioned he has talent. So did Jordan Binnington and Cam Ward. He is not consistent in the slightest.

For some reason, Igor seems to be a lot better when he's facing 40+ shots.

Today, while it seemed like Boston had the puck all day, they didn't exactly get a ton of shots. Ranger D was bad, bur somehow they still suppressed shots.

Statistically, the game didn't make sense.

I don't even think I saw Miller do anything outrageous tonight. It's strange that he gets targeted instead of, you know, the guys with minuses next to their names.
maybe tonight but he is usually on he ice when something happens, personally I think he is not very good and he is soft for someone his size. Passing is horrid and smarts are lacking.
I did give him credit the other night when he played a great game. If he played more of those I would give him kudos. He is very inconsistent.

He’s like 3rd or 4th in the league in GSAx, like he is every year

Carrying a corpse around for over 20 minutes a night has finally broken Fox.That was easily the worst game he's ever played.Lav went back to Miller-Fox in the 3rd,but too little too late...and he'll go right back to Rotting Corpse-Fox tomorrow because reasons

How come every game the rangers lose I have to hear about how they didn’t want it as much, they didn’t try, they didn’t put in the effort. Maybe all the people who said this team wasn’t that good for years despite all the wins they racked up because of goaltending and special teams were right about something. It’s amazing how the Rangers went from trying to not trying back to trying and are now not trying again. It’s all f***ing bullshit. Also as far as Igor, the league average save percentage is .901, I don’t know what some of you guys expect. It’s not 2012 when .900 meant you were an AHL level goalie. Sure he’s not perfect but the team in front of him f***ing sucks. He shouldn’t have been re-signed but that’s not his fault, it’s the terrible gm’s fault

He's played a ton of games that's dumb compiling stat. It's like saying a guy that played 60 games has more goals than someone that played 40 games. Also, he has elite games and that's why people are on his jock so much but that's counteracted by his absolute shit games. And these lastg three games came at the worst f***ing time.
