I'm not disagreeing with you - I'm just saying, you can't expect people to not complain when he gives up 5 goals in a game whether they're solely his fault or not.

The fanbase should be used to it by now. It's just tiring. Every f***ing year it's our goalies fault dating back to Hank. Hank was the problem. Geo was the problem. Igor is the problem. Quick is the problem.

The problem is we can't f***ing play defense. No goalie is going to be a miracle maker enough to get you to a cup. And it doesn't matter if we paid Igor that contract or not, clearly the money that would've been saved paying him, was going to go towards paying for more washed up 30-somethings.

it’s more noticeable when Fox has a bad game because we have like 2 good defensemen. He deserves a pass this year. Thought Mika looked good on the wing. Dude can’t score but I’ll take what we can get. Lindgren needs to be moved yesterday. Igor looked dreadful. This team still sucks.

Miller looked worlds better then the rest of the team.

lol just dammed embarassing.

11.5 mill goalie can't save this team from playing poorly, why are we paying him that much?
how come I watch some of the most talent bereft teams in the league know how to do basic defense better than this team?

Zib didn't win a puck battle today

Listen the defense sucks and the team sucks. But Igor sucked today. These things can all be true.

I think very few people really blamed Hank

My problem with Igor is he got paid like the best goalie in the league and he only occasionally plays like it and paying your goalie that much money is silly if they can't paper over some of the team issues

The problem is systemic. No one wants to work for anything. Management takes short cuts on the rebuild, players take short cuts on the ice. Players are given the best training facilities/hotels/flights/meals and as long as Dolan makes some playoff revenue, they don't have to earn a goddamned thing. Shit rolls down hill and it starts with ownership.

Panarin is as much done as Zibanejad. He's toast.
seems like he started the year OK and is now just lost

whole team is lost, would ratherjust see them tank

blow this season take the higher pick, dump some dead weight and retool a bit in the offseason and come out with a better team next year

the shit completely ruins discourse. any bum can just post that shit and say "i'm right haha argument over". you might be right but no one actually likes talking to you at the end of the day

My guy, you legitimately just did that, and are now complaining about the idea of it. "I don't care about evidence to the contrary, i think he bad." You sound like a flat-earther lmao

As bad as this loss was, I think it's a positive outcome for the long term interests of the team. If Drury is paying attention, today was plainly clear that Miller is a stud & several levels above the rotting core in both skill & intensity. If anything I hope it strengthens his resolve to ship out the dead weight starting with Lindgren, followed by the Wonder Twins.

The bar is very low for me when it comes to Mika. I want him gone.
how tho? It was a miracle we traded Trouba and actually got a 4th rounder which will almost be like a third. If Trouba had as many years as 93 left we would have been f***ed I think.
We could have attached the first rounder we lost in the Miller trade to trade get rid of 93

The guy with the most life was the guy who was up all night on the red eye---also the one who hasn't even practiced once with the team and doesn't know most of them. He was the one with by far the most impact on the game.

Anyone think that maybe Shesterkin could use a rest? He's played 10 of the last 11 games. I suspect Quick will be in tomorrow but it seems to me that the coaching staff has lost the plot on some things. For another for instance Zibanejad has played like shit all year long but never a thought about sitting him out for a game or three----even if just to see if maybe he might respond positively to being scratched. It's happened before with other players. Other teams do it. This season's been a year long study in hammering square pegs into round holes.

The problem is that a majority of the draft choices fail
Rangers drafting sucks
Time to get new scouts and talent evaluators

seriously tho how long can Miller play like this? If I am showing up to work and busting my ass its only a matter of time before my mind and body give out after playing on one of the softest teams in the league. He came to a team with stars that seem checked out and to a team that has less of a chance to make the playoffs than his original team.

I'm on the @TheWrongWay results-oriented train. I don't care how you do it, whether it's skill or will, you have to win puck battles. We were demolished in that department today. @TheWrongWay can close $50M deals in minutes under pressure.

Yeah it’s likely not possible. Maybe we can hide him at RW and hope it’s not that awful.

I don't know know to tell people that think Igor's contract should somehow guarantee that he'll play out of his mind every game while being on a team that is one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to shots against, which falls right in line with the dangerous chances he faces.

At some point, common sense needs to dictate that if a team plays average defense in front of him, he'll make the saves needed to keep the team alive. We literally saw this in the Carolina game, yet even if we did play average defense, this team doesn't know how to score. We don't pot OUR high danger chances (How many f***ing times did they shoot wide again tonight), so when fans like Snowblind look at the Deserve To Win bullshit stats, they only see that we were somehow dominant (we were not), and it was our goalie that failed us.

He plays a brand of hockey that no longer works in 2025 NHL.

The right move is to trade off Kreider Smith and Lindgren at the deadline. Fire Lavi at the end of the season and trade zib in the off season. That’s the best reset you going to get.

Rangers next year will have a #1C and #1D along with a top 10 winger in the league. Build around them with a mix of vets and youth and we’ll be golden.
no, fire Lavi NOW, why wait until the end of the season?
