With all the defensemen on this list who are 30 years and older on this list one player who stands out age-wise is 25-year-old Gustav Lindstrom. Not signed in either Europe or North America.

Is there a place for him?

He was honestly decent for us. Not a top 4 or anything, but solid bottom pairing.

I hope Rangers give him a PTO. He is still young and has not reached his full potential. Worth the risk at 25 over 35 year old.

With all camp rosters announced, here's all the remaining players who score a point in the NHL last year not on a camp roster, retired, or signed elsewhere

Some names on that list. Looking at some of those players’ stats I noticed that Clutterbuck has been in the league since 07-08 and mostly full seasons since 08-09. In his career, he has never been below -9 and never above +9 at the end of the season.

Is Bonino washed? Seems like he’d be a decent depth C option, but I’ll admit I haven’t kept up with how he’s performed lately…

Now that season has started the remaining UFA’s that are leftover are most likely finished with their careers and will quietly be forgotten as time passes, the lucky ones may receive an NHL contract after the first month of play with injuries occurring, the others may receive AHL or ECHL deals or short term deals in Europe.

C Bellemare ~ (PTO) Colorado
LW Gagner ~ (PTO) Carolina
RW Chiasson ~ (PTO) Detroit

Defensemen:

RD Schultz - Seattle
LD Scandella - St. Louis
