Yikes. AEW can excuse that to a degree, even though they weren't nearly as bad H2H against NXT last year... But NXT barely dropped.

It's like whatever crossover there is between WWE and AEW collectively chose NXT.

Dynamite started with 450K viewers in Q1 and dropped to 292K viewers in Q2...

I'm thinking switching to a Daniel Garcia promo and Hologram vs. Komander while going head to head against NXT was a bad idea.

While it seems AEW's overall storytelling may have gotten better, that's just piss poor formatting. They should've been loading up that hour.

This Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite on TBS came in with 637,000 viewers, which is slightly up from last week’s 633,000 viewers.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Dynamite scored a 0.19 rating, which is a very small drop from last week’s 0.20 rating.

Dynamite ranked approximately No. 6 in primetime in the key 18-49 demographic on cable for Wednesday. Dynamite ranked behind two NBA games on ESPN, the CNN Town Hall with Kamala Harris and Fox News programming.

There are people at AEW who truly have no idea what they are doing from a fan engagement standpoint. They’ve lost me entirely over the last 6 months. I’m no longer interested in their shows. I’ve been a wrestling fan since 1985 and this is only the second period of time that I’ve fully stopped watching wrestling at all. The other period was 1999-2002. I haven’t watch WWE for a while, but had kept watching wrestling due to indies and AEW, but I’m just so tired of being bored by everything except the in-ring action. I need a reason to care and AEW isn’t giving that to me at all. The indies are fun but have priced me out. $40 to see an indie wrestling show for the cheap seats is a no go for me, but that’s for a different conversation, this is about ratings, and I am one of the casualties.
