FS1 is a pretty oppressed channel
It is in a ton of homes in the states. Fox just puts garbage content on the channel and it really doesn't have much to draw people to even have it in their minds to switch to it. If Smackdown ever gets moved to FS1 it is dead.

Crazy that the WWE A show can dip below 2 million, the B show can dip below 1 million, and the C show can dip below 750k in the same seven days.

I heard people in WWE thought the move to Friday and Fox was going to spark a boom period.

It IS a boom. WWE are working extremely hard to avoid it getting bigger than it already is.

Using my business school education, WWE is in trouble. Every example of a business failing I was ever taught WWE is showing.

You’d think, but then they somehow swindle billion dollar deals from Fox and have a billion dollar+ 10-year-deal with the KSA. The Saudi deal keeps them afloat for the next 15 years alone at minimum.

But yeah, every metric is declining, the network is largely a flop compared to expectations. WWE is extremely lucky.

Brandnames are a powerful thing. Problem is WWE is an OLD brand.

The most hilarious thing is FOX is totally happy with their ratings for Smackdown because TV channels are so desperate for content. So even with the logical conclusion that FOX is paying a billion dollars for garbage, WWE still wins because they're probably the best drawing thing on friday nights.

WWE is free to stink up the wrestling landscape with their crap for the next decade like MCG said because they got well over 2 billion dollars worth of money coming in. And that's just sad.

I don’t think Fox is happy, but I think they’re willing to wait until the competition is less stiff. Dave said 11/8 will be the test. I think we’ll be hearing reports of buyers remorse from Fox very soon.

I really want Cole and Maldonado to win the title, but I also really want the away team to have won every game... So I guess I don't actually care about the most important game lol.

So with a WS Game 7 what would be decent numbers? Like in the 500k for NXT and in the 800k range for AEW and not lose much in the key demo?
This week is a write off. I wouldn’t look too much into any numbers. They could both be under 500k and no one should care this week.

Yeah I forgot about parts of Calfornia being on fire and the power being. Major outlier week. I guess still be somewhat interesting to see what they pull in a week like this.

Is Smackdown getting higher or lower ratings than whatever was in that Friday night timeslot on Fox before?
