    What This Means for You:

Now the Pens are the ones scoring on the first shot and in the dieing seconds of the period. Seriously why don't these guys give a f*** early in the season? 3 more wins in the first 4 months of the season and they'd be in the wild card race

I have a slightly different question: the excuse for jarry used to be “the defence is horrible!”

The defence is worse now, why is he suddenly able to stop the puck!?!?

It seems like it's all mental with him. Being absolutely horrendous during the playoffs and early in the season and then being Hasek when there's no pressure

Is it worse? Or are Kolyachonok and Timmins the Pieces?
 
The fact that we are seeing an increase in unsportsmanlike penalties from players bitching at referees is problematic for referees.
 
I'm starting to get on board with Dubas's plan.

This team does not need to bottom out, especially when there aren't any clear dominant prospects in the draft. Also, the league has truly pivoted from being superstar reliant. Look at the Panthers, you don't need a Prime Sid or McDavid.

Add an impact fwd via FA
Add wbs boys to the lineup
NO BAD FA Contracts

This team could get very interesting as early as next season.

They have never added an impact forward in FA, like ever.

But that doesn't mean they can't trade for one.
