Here's the thread. His entry defense is not good, but his transition game is top tier.


This is why you sign him long-term in the offseason. It's better than bridging him and becoming more expensive in two years, if he continues trending.

Somehow Pionk remains a constant. If we’re scratching people for slippage in their play, how is he not seeing the press box occasionally?

Oh and don’t get me wrong, I understand the tank is on.

My concern is further evidence that this staff loves Pionk and apparently thinks he’s playing well. I have serious concerns about the D in the future of a player like Pionk is identified as a core piece.
