They need to play their worst games vs the worst teams, and their best games vs the better teams and we should be okay.
In the meantime, I came up with this.
Lets assume the Panthers, Sabres, Avalanche & Coyotes...STAY ahead of us.

If we have to win....beat a good team, which bodes well for confidence, yet really is but a 2 point game. Know what I mean?

1st NHL assist or 1st goal by Hayek?
How does an NHL player go 33 games without a goal? Well then I would beg for Howden to get 1st since NOVEMBER 12!
Yeah, Tony could use a goal, his damned self.

Problem becomes, if we get those 4 goals above, we have to give up 5. Don't want that for Hank nor Georgie.
On edit.....Maybe Detroit plays inspired hockey with the addition of Zadina. Yeah, thats the ticket.....kid gets a hattie.
