Imagine 'opinions' are the metric for deciding who a better goaltender is...

This place is amazing sometimes.
Wow  Just the incredible response I expected from you.

Acting like I’m a jackass for suggesting Gyorg has earned these starts over your beloved.

A reason I would want to play Georgiev more is that, depending on how Shestyorkin's transition to N.A. goes, they may need to look into trading him at some point in the next year. Easier to sell him if he's a known quantity.

We actually played really well the last time we saw these guys. Rittich had 41 saves and Gaudreau had 41 points.

That's the last time we played good.

Expect big time games from Lanny McDonald, Joel Otto, and Joe Nieuwendyk.

Willi Plett with a Gordie Howe hat trick.
Kent Nilsson and Guy Chouinard pot 2 each.
Jim Craig in solid between the pipes.

Flames win 5-3. Buch gets a hat trick.

Anyone reading anything into Hank vs Georgie usage other than Quinn/Gorton wanting to know with the most evidence what they have in a young player and as of Lundqvist isn’t aware of what his usage is going to be is just being crazy. Quinn very clearly respects Lundqvist and is known for his open communication. I’m fairly certain they have good communication on what the plan is.

I don’t even think Lundqvist looks angry in his media availability or anything even close to it, aside from frustration after losses. His comments generally strike me as a veteran just trying to be a good teammate and stick to the course.

And the constant “Do you think they’re trying to get Hank to waive? Will he waive” as if Gorton is trying to throw him out the door is asinine. They ASKED him if he wanted to be moved last season out of respect bc of his status and bc they were taking the franchise in a rebuild mode not, not them trying to get rid of him. I feel like there’s been a big disconnect with some fans on this point. Lundqvist is ONLY leaving the Rangers during his current deal if he wants to.

And Georgiev has been good in 2019, Hank had a dip mid Jan-Feb but has looked better the past couple weeks now. It make sense to platoon them. You see more evidence for what you have with Georgie and you don’t put some unnecessary extra miles on Hank.

I'm not a drinker or a dancer so I'm usually home at night even if I have plans.

It was beautiful out today.
I have my rock band, but no practice or gig tonight, so I’ll be here trying to get people to laugh even if they are crying inside.

Yeah great weather today, stayed dry for the most part, would have been nice to walk around the city before a game.

I always wanted to be in a metal band but anything I play sounds like a tuba, including my voice.

Good luck tonight fellas.

If you wouldn't mind maybe just "forget" Lundqvist at the hotel. Sure we could do him up a disguise as Henry Landriss, a late season call up for the playoffs. Shows up next season in his Rangers gear and no one is the wiser. You can even keep Lazar.

Lundqvist isn’t starting.

I don’t think they are trying to push Lundqvist out. Given the state of the team I’d see a lot of players waiving their NMC to go to a competing team. But if Hank wants to stay it should be his right to do so, imo. They want to see what Georgiev can do, and with nothing on the line it’s a good time to see. But other young players need to earn their spots and ice time. I think Georgiev has played well enough to earn more starts. I think we will get a better idea come next season what their true plan is. Don’t think they have that figured out yet when it comes to the goaltending.
