You’ve got NJ also playing both Edmonton and Vancouver. So the Nucks can add 4 points, and Edmonton can pull ahead of us. A three game pointless streak would be a good thing.

We are currently in 7th, but only based on tie breakers with 3 other teams. The Rangers, Oilers, Blackhawks and Sabers have all played 69 games and have 69 points, but the Rangers are significantly lower in ROW.

Over the last 10 games, we have gained 9 points. All of the teams ahead of us have gained more points over that span except Winnipeg (8) and Buffalo (6).

All of the teams behind us have less points than us over the last 10 games. If we are going to catch any of them, losing in regulation tonight would really help. That would put Vancouver 2 points behind us with the same # of games played and 4 more ROW.

@ Calgary and @ Minnesota after tonight. Let's have a 3 game losing streak (regulation losses) and put some distance between us and the teams above us.

If we are going to win a game, let it be at home against Detroit. We aren't catching them anyway. Then we've got games @ Toronto, vs Pittsburgh and @ Boston. That could be 3 more losses.
