see....if you point out every single thing, then you open yourself up to getting every single criticism....and then you cant moan about it.

yes, he got a wrist shot through....give him a cookie in the locker room.
Because I see so many lies about him, including that one. He’s my favorite player in the NHL. Cut me at least a little bit of slack.

You’re being intellectually dishonest, and misrepresenting my argument. You’re accusing me of deliberately lying, and that’s not cool. This goes beyond the actual thing we were arguing about.
You still don't get it, I was mocking ppl who instantly holler as soon as something untoward happens to one of their chosen kids. lol.

it's 4, and it's really only 3 now that I think about it bc the 0:07 game was because the 5 forward PP1 ate up all the time doing nothing during the only PP of the game.

I don't consider lumping in the games he was scratched to be valid in the "AdA doESNt eVeN gET tO pLAy the PP" nonsense we've gotten the last few games and you did, guess we got our wires crossed. I wish you no ill will. gl and enjoy the game.
Once again, that wasn’t my argument. My argument today wasn’t that Quinn “wasn’t playing him on the power play.”

It was that one bad power play doesn’t mean that he sucks. especially since he didn’t get a chance to play on it (and probably didn’t even practice on it) in a while. And you have to include the games he didn’t play, because that means he went another day not playing/practicing on it. Can you at least admit I have a point? You can disagree, but I’m not crazy.

fair enough....and I would love to see in him what you have seen. I would love to see him create offense, like you see. I just haven't.
I’m with you there. Points aren’t everything, but even some defensive defensemen have more than him. I think he’s doing good things, but I admit he’s not doing enough.

Edit: But wouldn’t you say that he has bad luck on his breakout passes, due to not having talented teammates?

I don't think he's bad on the PP and said as much to you. You replied to that post! D:

Yes you have a point.

Sure that is part of it...its one thing to try to spring Fast vs. setting up Buch or Zib. But once in the offensive zone, I don't see the creativity or a semblance of a PP QB or an offensive threat (the much maligned Pionk does that well).

Nash is gonna drop the ceremonial puck tomorrow night in Columbus. Are their fans gonna boo him like they did every time we played there for the last 6 years?

I think they both do it well but I just think that Tony has been told all his career “defense first,” so much so, that he barely takes risks anymore. And I understand. He was awful defensively as a prospect, and I think his offensive growth got a bit stunted as the years went by (due to coaches wanting him to work on defense more and more). Anyways, Tony lately hasn’t been creating, but he was earlier in the season. And it’s the opposite with Pionk. He’s been doing better lately (besides last game). Pionk’s always created on the power play, but he’s slowly getting better and better at 5v5.

One thing we can (probably) agree on: Tony is such a mystery.

I rag on him a decent amount because I think he sorta sucks rn, but Chytil's been noticably paying attention on defense for several games now, especially backchecking. Heads always on a swivel. That alone gives me hope for him.
