Sucks that they gave the assist to Kreider on the last goal. Tony could have had 3 assists today. UGH. But maybe his bad luck could get us a steal of a contract. 3.5-4 mil AAV for the next 6-8 years? For a top 2/3 defenseman?

Happy they didn't take the loss once down 3-1 and 6-3. They are showing much more mettle than in years past.

Part of playing defense is getting the puck back and defending your net. That being said he can certainly get better at those things and I won't mind

He didn't deserve one on the last goal anyway. He failed to get the puck through once or twice in that 6v5 sequence IIRC, Shattenkirk was finally able to get one on net. Kreider tipped it making it harder for DeSmith to control the shot and rebound. Zib cleaned up the garbage.
