Anyone been noticing how a lot of out "throw away" players have been killing us and are on better teams and are more successful now? Duclair, McDonagh, Dubinsky, Callahan, Oscar Lindberg, seems like we kept the wrong guys...I mean I love Hayes and Vesey and Zucc and Kreider but we had all that talent together, and Hagelin and Grabner too, and we let them go.

I think Quinn just saw the pair work. I am far from a Staal fan, but I think with Staal’s improved play, and if DeAngelo continues to play like he did in the beginning of the year, this pairing could really do well.

Me too, just cant help but being skeptical as to WHY. Who is he catering to? Is he finally thinking ADA might work BETTER than Pionk with Marc? Which would mean he may think Tony is actually a better player/fit to cover defensively.

Those players aren’t the reason those teams are good though
