Teams like Arizona and Carolina used to be automatic wins for NYR on the schedule. Nowadays...not so much.

This game really might be the worst I recall in the last few seasons for being totally dominated in all areas.
A certain game against the Stars in Dallas a few years back gave me the type of feeling I have in this game.
The team is not doing a single thing well.

Team hasnt looked like an NHL team the last two weeks. Even when they beat the Blues they were dominated.

Yea I get that, but all I’m saying is that most of us know that the vast majority of 1st round picks don’t become impact players (or even make the NHL).

True we are just gonna have to hope that out of 7 first rounders over the last 3 years (hopefully we have at least 2 in the first this upcoming draft) at least 3-4 of them become helpful pieces to this organization for the next 6-10 years.

The Islanders winning is music to my ears. Hopefully, they make the playoffs and lose in the 1st round. Can’t have them winning the lottery. It’s the best-case scenario. They have a decent team, but nothing good enough to go far in the playoffs. Granted, stranger things have happened, but still.
