How many points have they coughed up in March to teams in the West Wild Card race?New Jersey is so damn useless.
2 to Cal, 2 to Van, and (so far) 1 to MinHow many points have they coughed up in March to teams in the West Wild Card race?
I actually don't mind if Minnesota finished in the WC1 spot and the Blues take the WC2 spot because I'd prefer to see Winnipeg in the first round anyways. Vegas is a tested and proven team with championship pedigree on their roster. Plus, their defensemen will be a pain to deal with. Give me the Jets.New Jersey is so damn useless.
I want Minnesota to fall out of the Race and Calgary or Vancouver take it.I actually don't mind if Minnesota finished in the WC1 spot and the Blues take the WC2 spot because I'd prefer to see Winnipeg in the first round anyways. All three are weak right now, but I want the WC2, so we get the Jets.I want Minnesota to fall out of the Race and Calgary or Vancouver take it.

Playoff seeding is weird and I have never taken the time to try to understand it, but will it really matter? It's gonna be a tough road either way.Don’t we avoid the Avs and Stars in rd 2 if we are WC1?
Yes…..with two caveats. Jets win the Central and they end up with more points than Vegas.Don’t we avoid the Avs and Stars in rd 2 if we are WC1?
Folding like a cheap tentApparently Colorado is just as useless as NJ.
I can imagine their GDT nowFolding like a cheap tent
Its not too complicazed. They make 2 division brackets even though the 2 wild card teams might not be from those divisions. The division2 faces the divisjon 3 andnthe 1 faces a wildcard. The winners then play each other. If we are wc 1, we will essentially be in vegas division until the conference finals and face winner of kings/oilers if we beat vegas but as wc 2 wed stay in our division and indeed face avs/stars if we beat winnpedPlayoff seeding is weird and I have never taken the time to try to understand it, but will it really matter? Fighting for their lives. Before this recent stretch Calgary had ONE comeback win the entire season and it was opening night. I’ve never seen anything like this.
This.Fighting for their lives.
I thought the Wild would be fighting for their lives to the point that we wouldn't catch them. Now we are chomping at their heels, not nipping.Fighting for their lives.
Injuries wrecked em. They are a one line team and their one line got hurt.I thought the Wild would be fighting for their lives to the point that we wouldn't catch them. Now we are chomping at their heels, not nipping.
