The issue is they're never going to face and fix their problems even if they lose. They're too arrogant of an organization.
My hope is less injuries to key players and still losing the rest of the games. That is enough I think to get Tomlin to step down or get fired (wishful thinking, I know).

Such a dumb, typical Steelers game. Need to hope they can win something like 19-16, but the problem is I don’t think the titans are done scoring. So, probably need the D to bail them out yet again with a big turnover or something.

They should have done this in the first place, use the draft to build up the OL and bring in someone like Carr to be the QB. This team refuses to rebuild so I'm not entirely sure why they thought bringing in a rookie QB who's a 2nd rounder in a normal year to replace Ben was going to work. Especially when the team had major issues offensively even while having Ben.

Pickett is just another guy on this level, but this team isn't a better QB away from doing...well, anything. Frankly I don't even know what you can do about this offense without just tearing it down, which they obviously won't do.

Colbert probably felt he owed Ben/Tomlin one last chance to try and compete at the end of his career, and then likely wanted to leave his replacement with a QB to try to build around, both those mindsets have by now proven faulty but they can't be changed now.

The far bigger problem with the team is their inability to correct self evaluate their situation.

So you can't even look forward to the potential of a proper rebuild being committed to, because this team is so far up it's own ass that "the standard" (of no playoff wins) means more to them than actually trying to build properly for future success.

Do you know what I find kinda funny? I honestly believe the offense has been good today for their standards. It just doesn't seem like enough because the defense is pretty pedestrian and isn't giving them a ton of short fields to work with.

The team has had 5 possessions offensively and has gotten into the Titans red zone in 3 of those 5. I honestly don't know that you can reasonably expect more out of this offense than that.

Why?

Why would we want such a flawed team to luck their way into some undeserved victories and never face and fix the problems.
It’s been pretty clear for years that Tomlin is here until he wants to leave. So I don’t really root against the Steelers. I’m annoyed beyond belief and have passed up tickets to actually go to games this year, but they’re still my team, so I hope for wins.

I agree 100%, I've been screaming this for a while now. I personally think the mistakes started when they drafted Harris with a 1st rounder but you can go back even further than that with those same issues.

No idea why Tenn even started Tannehill this season…their record would have been much better starting Levis

It's not a fun mindset to have, but the one-score game wins they've miraculously pulled out of their ass the last two seasons eventually proving more beneficial in the long run had they been losses is hard to ignore.
