The one thing I'll never understand about professional sports; you take out my qb or best player, and the refs don't call it, I'm taking out your qb. Every play, we are targeting and hitting him late until he falls.

You allow the to know out KP and you don't react in kind??? I don't get it.

Not only did they make the wrong choice of picking a rb in the 1st round, they took the wrong one.

Edit: Actually looks like the safety's fault, Porter expecting deep help, safety took a bad route.

Yup. Everyone bit on all those out routes... Safety was supposed to shade deep and Porter was supposed to take the post... Nice play vs. our aggressive D tho.

I think the major difference between Pickett and Trubisky is that Trubisky plays a lot more recklessly/aggressively than Pickett does. You've seen that a few times already in the quarter Trubisky has played, he's making or looking to make deep throws even if it's not the right call.

I actually feel like that may explain why the running game has started to work a bit in the 3rd. Teams know Pickett is a conservative thrower so they can line up more near the line of scrimmage, but they know Trubisky is a loose cannon so they need to respect him more.
