"It's really bizarre for someone to disagree with me about someone I am completely entrenched on..."

The start of every great post.

At halftime, the Steelers have 91 rushing yards. To beat the Cardinals, they'll need a whole lot more than that in the second half. Cardinals have allowed an NFL-worst 174 rushing yards per game in their last three contests against the Rams, Texans and Falcons.

Maybe if you'd come up with actual criticisms that aren't the same old nonsense as normal, those thoughts would be taken more seriously. Crazy though, I know?

The only play where Pickett made a mistake on was the play he got injured on. He should have dumped it off to Robinson instead of scrambling. That's it. Although I'm unsure if Robinson gets it in there if he dumps it off, two DBs would have closed in on him quickly and there was only 1 other WR to block there.

And had they punched it in on the 4th down, literally no one would care that Pickett made the play he made on 3rd down.

I have been transparent in my Pickett criteria.
200 yds/game, 1.5 passing TDs/game and <1 INT/game

Production matters. Look at what Murray just did.

So you're not actually evaluating Pickett based on the plays that are called but an arbitrary stat line that you deem acceptable?

I wouldn't say Pickett was great or anything in the 1st half, but he didn't do anything for anyone to complain about him either. It was a thoroughly incomplete rating.

Great punt, Blake. Loved the flex with the bow and arrow too. Proud Penn St man! We know TEU, RBU, LBU… now also Punter U.

This is the problem with "run it until they stop you." Always a penalty. You have to throw to win.
