This is Khan and Tomlin’s plan - try to compete next year. The problem is that they are awful at their jobs.

Maybe I won’t have to hear about Will Howard now after this signing. I mean, he is Qb#4 now. Lots of crap would have to go wrong for him to play a snap next year.

Judging by how coach shaft handled Fields and Wilson, Howard ain’t playing.

Coach T will give Rodgers the ball until the season is over or until Rodgers gets hurt.

Looking around the league news today, I'm not sure which is worse for the Colts, Anthony Richardson hurt again and starting to bear the Bust label, or Daniel Jones looking like your starting QB. Actually, Daniel Jones versus a rickety, distracted Aaron Rodgers might be an interesting choice.

I haven't followed the Steelers or the NFL much this offseason. Realize AR is a better choice than Rudy, who couldn't consistently beat out Will Levis for chrissakes, but I don't see how the Steelers are remotely successful (i.e., finishing at 9-8 by the Tomlin Standard) with AR at QB.
