OT: The Pittsburgher Thread: Post Draft - Still dont need no QB

Never telling a guy no isn’t handling them. Letting them get away with whatever they want isn’t handling someone at all. Handling him would be actually disciplining him for showing up late to the Christmas Day game. Or actually criticizing him for quitting onerous instead of making up the lamest excuse in the book that they were “load managing” him. Letting a malcontent continue to do whatever they want is not even remotely close to handling them
Says you. The entire purpose of handling them is to keep them contained enough be rewarded by the on field production. Not to “fix” the or in you case dominate them into submission.

Your just playing the old man that yells at cloud.

Right, but since you can't just look at the production, who's to say Tomlin's scale is the right scale?

I'm not hardcore on the side of Tomlin mismanaging these guys. I agree with you that you have to be able to put up with some bullshit. I just think there are other (and probably impossible to quantify) affects on the team that you can't just say "he got the production when other's didn't".
Sure, but you also cant waive it away. The only factual parts of this, are the production, and the exact timeline of when this mgmt team feels that scale tips the wrong direction.

The rest is not only subjective, not only intangible but also something we dont even have access to see.

So anyone out there (not saying you specifically) whos argument is that he handles them poorly isnt backed by anything other that their personal feelings about Tomlin in general or outdated concepts of control/punishment.

I really don't see the problem with going BPA on all of all those picks, and either going with a free agent or leaning hard on the 3rd round pick they made last season and who'd have probably gone before anybody other than Golden in this.
Wilson would still be a 3rd or 4th round pick in this past draft. He is going to struggle in the nfl getting open cause everything in college was schemed open.
The free agent options suck but maybe Khan doesn’t put all his eggs in one specific wr like he did last year with Aiyuk

If they do not bring in another WR then they thing Woods is still legit or Roman Wilson was a starter...but if he was starting caliber...why is he on the sidelines last season?

He was hurt most of the year and then got hurt again when he came back.
