They drafted a RB...which is technically 50% of their offense. What else did they really need offensively besides a QB...which they still may take?
Metcalf, Johnson and I still feel ARod is signing here- for better or worse.

Howard in the 6th feels fine. Of all the low ish upside guys he seemed the best bet to at least be ok. I’m just glad it’s not McCord. They’re bringing in a lot of high character guys this draft.

You can’t expect much out of day 3 of the draft, but it’s definitely been a low upside type of day for the Steelers. No toolsy guys so far.

I actually feel pretty fine going into next year with Rodgers, Rudolph and Howard as their QB room. Howard is a bit interesting to me because he took it to a new level on OSU's championship run. Safe QB pick, safe bet to be at least a more mobile Mason.

Going with Rodgers, Rudolph and Howard this year and then Rudolph, Howard and a 2026 1st in 2026 is pretty much exactly what they should be doing IMO.

It's a bottom 10 QB room in the NFL, but at least it wouldn't be a total disaster provided Rodgers signs and stays some semblance of healthy.

Jeremiah had him at #85, we got him at 185. I really like this pick. Came up big when it mattered most.

There was no realistic path for the QB room to end up any better than that this off-season.

Rodgers on a 1 year, $10 million deal with Rudolph as a cheap backup and Howard as a likely future backup is pretty much the best case scenario for what they could have done this off-season.
