Eh Sawyer is fine, early down run defender who will offer nice depth. He and Herbig as a combined entity could be a nice solution. There were sexier picks.
Now wondering what we say about Highsmith's future next year when Herbig is eligible for his first extension.
Why do they need WR depth? They have DK, GP, CA3, Wilson, Skowronek, and MillerThey need OLB depth, but Watt, Highsmith and Herbig is already pretty good OLB depth. Wouldn't have pegged an OLB as a need over a WR.

Wilson could be a stud... you don't know. Any WR won't break the top 4 in playing time this season and most likely would have trouble making the team.Because after Austin, that group sucks ass. And even Austin is pretty mid and Pickens is likely gone after next year.
Sawyer is not a linebacker btw. Edge guy. Great against the run. Incredible character.
All things being equal you go for need, but yes otherwise try to get BPA.As a general rule I'm in favor of drafting good players and not worrying about need when you're in day three of a draft.
Lockett signed already with TEN I believe.Since they aren't drafting a WR likely to help immediately, makes you wonder if they'll add someone like Lockett or Cooks after the draft.
Ah. I missed that. Then replace Lockett with Cooper or Keenan Allen in my prior post.Lockett signed already with TEN I believe.
