Now there's even more reason for teams to stay away from Shedeur. It's not just Deion that will be screaming at the top of his lungs if Shedeur doesn't start, it will be the entire national media. Unless he goes to a team with a future HoF starter (like BUF or KC), all of them will be screaming as loud as possible whenever that team's starting QB throws an incompletion.

He’s not an insider or anything but I think he does have some links to the team.

Unless there’s a run on QBs, 5th round seems sweet spot for developmental QB…their fourth round pick is too high for one, with NTs, WRs, and some other players who actually could improve the team right now available…I hope they wait a round to select a QB

I'm supportive of going for a WR in round 4, but I don't think there is anyone they're going to be taking in rounds 4-7 that will actually improve the team right now. A WR won't get many reps over Metcalf, Pickens or Austin. A NT probably won't get many reps over Benton or Ekuale. A CB won't get many reps over Porter, Slay, Echols or Bishop.

If Sanders goes undrafted, it’ll be one of the craziest fall offs I can ever remember.

There was a guy that played for the Cowboys a couple years back that was a projected first rounder that ended up going undrafted, but I think he got caught up in a murder investigation so…not the same.

La'el Collins. Saw this name brought up in all this. A girl he used to date got shot so he got interviewed as a non-suspect, and whoosh - free-fall.

So Collins' agents start telling people don't draft him at all because he won't play for you if he does - after this, he wants to sign where he wants to sign. Which happened.

You never know how they’ll perform or what injuries will happen…at worst they’ll see the field on special teams or as a rotational player…I doubt a QB selected today will see the field at all…3rd string emergency at best

At this point I would think that the message will get through to Sanders.

He has an extremely short leash to no career and is seen as no where near as special as he and his father thought he was.

He might, and that is an extremely qualified might, might turn out to become a very useful player from all of this.

Or might be out of the league in training camp.

He’s just not that good.

When the most hyped thing about a player, especially a QB, is his intangibles and then it starts coming out that he was horrible in interviews, there’s nothing left to hang your hat on.
